Introducing Fruitful CHICAGO, the meetup group
A few years ago, I read Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain, and it totally clicked for me. As a fellow introvert, I learned that if you want to find your people, sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone a little—and if the perfect space doesn’t exist yet, why not create it yourself?
That’s exactly what inspired me to start a fun, welcoming Meetup group here in Chicago! We’re all about cultivating joy through meaningful connections with like-minded folks who are inspired by Ikigai principles (finding your purpose) and Blue Zones habits (living longer, happier lives). Plus, we share a love for eating mostly fresh fruit and raw foods—it’s the delicious cherry (or mango!) on top.
Contrary to what some might think, being a fruitarian (or raw vegan) in a chilly winter city like Chicago is totally doable! Sure, most of our gorgeous fruits are imported rather than local this time of year, but with a little creativity, we thrive on ripe, juicy goodness all year round.
I know I’m not the only one out there enjoying this vibrant lifestyle—there are plenty of raw-curious vegans, aspiring fruit lovers, and longtime raw foodies in the city just waiting to connect. So, I’m excited to introduce Fruitful Chicago—a friendly community for anyone in the Chicagoland area who wants to share fruit feasts, swap tips, enjoy nature walks, and build real connections.
If you’re local and this sounds like your vibe, come join us! Click here to sign up. Can’t wait to meet fellow fruit lovers in the Windy City—hope to see you at our next juicy gathering!
